    gathering hall

    Play with two players and get all the items you want to trade, then go to the online gathering hall. Give all the items you want to the other player. Note: There are some items you cannot trade. Turn off the game without saving while the other player stays in the online gathering hall. Turn on the game again and you will have all the items that you gave away. Get back all the items you gave the other player and you will have doubled your items.

    Easy Mining

    Kokurota Village

    Unlock the training school to unlock the Kokurota Village. Go and mine ores until it says there is no more and play any gathering mission with the paw prints. (takes 2 min max) Every time you beat a mission you can mine more ores.

    Good Combo for Big Weapons

    When you have a big weapon (ex: Bone Blade, Iron Blade) you should press triangle then tap square until the monster is dead.

    How to Kill the Rathalos

    To kill this beast get lots of flash bombs from the velocidrome mission. Make sure you also get lots of herbs, potions, antidotes, power seeds, pitfall traps, and defense seeds. You also might want to get something to eat too.
    (To make a pitfall trap)
    ivy + spiderweb = net
    net + trap tool = pitfall trap
    After you start the mission get your supplies.The Rathalos is in section 3. His favorite spots are 10 and 9. To defeat him, keep your health up, stun him with flash bombs then hack and slash, and use pitfall traps - but keep one. When he starts to limp and flies to section 5, wait for him to fall asleep, then go in. Before you attack him, kill all of the raptor creatures and set a pitfall trap. So now you need to run and hit him in the head, then rush to the trap. After he falls in the trap he should be easy to defeat. If he does not die in the trap he should be easy to kill.

    Legendary Sword

    If you havent noticed already, across from where those two guys in the village are geting drunk, you can go into your own backyard through the pink flower tree. In the backyard, there will be what would appear to be a great sword in a rock, can try to draw it out, but you can't until you finish the 4* urgent quest from the village chief (Attack of the Rathalos). Then the village chief will tell you about the sword, and you can draw it out. It may be weak when you pull it out, but it can be upgraded into something that can kill any wyvern with a few blows to the legs and the head.

    Revenge Of The Garuga quest glitch

    Start the "Revenge Of The Garuga" quest. Take only your weapons, armor, and one Spiderweb. Once the quest is started, go directly to Area 7 (going through Areas 1 and 8). Talk to the little man in Area 7 and he will give you a special mushroom for your Spiderweb. Accept the offer, then just sit and wait until time runs out. It will say that you have completed the quest. The next time you try the quest you will not be able to do this trick. However, if you kill Garuga, who only has one third of his normal life because of the glitch, you can do the glitch again. Afterwards you must kill him and repeat the process again to get Garuga armor, weapons, and lots of money.


Monster Hunter Freedom Unlockables

    Unlock Training School

    Town Sage

    To unlock the training school, you have to unlock the Lvl 2 missions from the town sage and complete the mission 'The Great Jungle Kut-Ku'. This will unlock a training school for you to fight against the kut-ku with limited weapons, armor and items. When you beat other powerful monsters you can also train against them here.
