Gold Bricks are scattered throughout the hub world, but you'll also be awarded Gold Bricks for collecting all 10 minikits (opens in new tab) in a level, getting the True Survivor achievement by collecting the appropriate amount of studs per level, completing a level, and you'll also nab one every time you collect one of the new Carbonite Bricks (opens in new tab).
