HOT TOPIC We want your thoughts on Star Wars casting for SFX 250!

Let us know you think of the Episode VII cast and give us your SFX memories for a chance to be immortalised in a landmark issue

This week the biggest casting announcement since, well, The Phantom Menace saw a host of familiar, and not so familiar, faces sign up for the next adventure in a Galaxy Far, Far Away. Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker will all reprise their original roles; while newbies John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaacs, Max Von Sydow, Domnhall Gleeson, Adam Driver and Andy Serkis and have joined the cast in yet to be revealed roles.

Very soon we’ll be compiling the letters pages for our landmark 250th issue, and we want to know what you think about the recently announced Episode VII cast. Happy that the original gang are back for at least one more outing on the big screen? Gutted that Lando isn’t among them? Think Max Von Sydow and Andy Serkis are a good fit for Star Wars ? Got a theory on who Brits John Boyega and Daisy Ridley are playing? Concerned about the gender imbalance in the cast? Outraged that they left R2 in a box? We want to know!
