The Witcher's long-time voice of Geralt isn't worried about Ciri's actor taking over as the RPG's star: "She's going to do a great job"

Doug Cockle's been at the forefront of The Witcher games for almost two decades, imbuing Geralt of Rivia with his iconic smoky growl in all three games, plus one animated film, but he'll soon be taking a backseat in The Witcher 4 while 'child of surprise' Ciri takes the driver's seat. And he has absolutely no notes for Ciri's new voice, Ciara Berkeley.

"I have met her [Berkeley]," the prolific actor told us at The Golden Joystick Awards 2025. "I only spoke with her briefly, just today. We exchanged some DMs a couple of weeks ago just to say hi... She's lovely, and I think she's going to do a great job. She's got a fantastic presence in person. I don't really have any advice. I've offered to chat with her if she has any questions or anything like that, but she's a strong person. She's going to be fine."
