"Mark my words. You cannot win without 4 players," Ghost of Yotei multiplayer lead warns of Legends' "hardcore content," all but guaranteeing a flood of players trying to prove Sucker Punch wrong

Sucker Punch says you won't beat Ghost of Yotei Legends' upcoming Raid without a full party of four players, so expect someone to have beaten it solo by day one.
As announced at last month's big PlayStation State of Play livestream, Ghost of Yotei's upcoming multiplayer mode, Legends – itself a follow-up to Ghost of Tsushima Legends – will be arriving later this week. And ahead of its launch Sony has released a big PlayStation Blog post detailing everything you need to know about the upcoming mode. But there's also a challenge in there… well not really, it's a warning, but no doubt many will take it as a challenge.
When introducing the Raid, which will have you face two members of the Yotei Six – and is due to release a bit later in April 2026 – Legends' lead designer Darren Bridges explains: "It's four-player, hardcore content: you actually need four players to complete it. You can't do it with fewer and you want to have players that you can communicate and coordinate well with. We view this as the most co-opy co-op."
Bridges continues: "The rest of the Legends missions are co-optional. We provide opportunities for you to work together, but we don't ever want to make it a blocker." When it comes to the Raid though, the dev once again warns, "This though? This is for four players. Mark my words. You cannot win without four players."
Of course, that means someone has to do it. You see people perform ridiculous feats all the time, like beating Elden Ring with the likes of dance mats, saxophones, their mind, a pair of socks, a Spongebob SquarePants calendar, or a 2001 VHS copy of Shrek… OK, I made those last three up, but would you really be surprised? I give it less than a month before someone conquers the Raid solo.
Sony reportedly ending PC ports of single-player PlayStation games like Ghost of Yotei and Saros.
