When is the Big Walk release time?

Knowing the Big Walk release time is important information, if you're keen to start exploring the wide-open world of House House's latest quirky adventure. This is especially true here as the game is launching globally at different times, depending on whether you're playing on PlayStation 5 or PC and Nintendo Switch 2, and if you're based in the United States or elsewhere. To help you fathom out when your journey can begin, I've rounded up all of the Big Walk release times and explained the differences.

What time does Big Walk come out?

The game launches on August 4, but by checking the various regional PlayStation Stores and SteamDB information I have identified two separate Big Walk release times depending on your location and format. These are broken down as follows:

- 6am PDT

PS5 (AU/NZ Store)
- 6pm AEST
- 8pm NZST
PC (Steam)
- 6am PDT
- 9am EDT
- 2pm BST

- 1am NZST (August 5)

It appears that globally Big Walk will release first on PS5 in the UK/EU and Australia/New Zealand, then five hours later it will launch on PS5 in the US alongside a simultaneous worldwide release on PC via Steam. There is currently no information available about the Nintendo Switch 2 release time, though based on previous third-party launches this is likely to mirror the Steam timings.

Unlike with the Xbox, there is no "New Zealand trick" on PS5 to switch your internal clock to NZST so you can get access sooner, which means if you're based in the United States then the only way to play Big Walk early is to purchase it from the UK/EU or Australia/New Zealand PSN Store. Given the difference is only 5 hours and it's happening overnight, the best option is to wait until it becomes available in your region – especially if you're picking it up for free via PlayStation Plus!
