Game of Thrones season 7 set photos hint at a season-defining battle and a shocking team-up
Did you think Game of Thrones season 7 couldn’t possibly top the Battle of the Bastards’ clash between Ramsay Bolton and Jon Snow? If these rumours about a Westeros-shaking battle are to be believed then it's time to turn your hype-o-meter all the way up to 11.
Possible spoilers are below so please enter at your own risk. (Or take a quick peek. We promise not to tell).
You may have seen the news that the Lannisters and the Tarlys are combining forces in Game of Thrones next year and you may have also been wondering just what exactly could stop this axis of evil.
How about the Dothraki, AND the Unsullied having a great, big manly team-up? Oh yes.
Praise be to the Lord of Light, Watchers on The Wall are reporting that Jacob Anderson, who plays Unsullied captain Grey Worm, has been spotted in Caceres, Spain – which is where Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) and James Faulkner (Randall Tarly) have been seen filming battle scenes.

This follows on from previous WOTW reports showing a Dothraki ambush (as shown below) on a Lannister caravan. The pieces are beginning to fit together and, where the Dothraki are, you’d best believe Dany and her dragons aren’t too far behind…
@yeahclarke sry no pic from actual charge. Here are 2 right before and after the take; all from Monday pic.twitter.com/BuC4jbUphTNovember 27, 2016
By my count, we could see four sets of armies and a big, bad dragon or two on the way. Battle of the Bastards, eat your heart out.

My work has also been featured in OPM, FourFourTwo, and Game Revolution.
