The Lego Movie - an original film set within the LEGO universe - has gone and released a first trailer online.
Chris Pratt (the Parks And Recreation star who’s set to go stellar with Guardians Of The Galaxy ) leads an eclectic voice cast that also includes Alison Brie, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Elizabeth Banks and Will Arnett.
Not a huge amount is known about the plot right now, although we do know that LEGO man Emmet (Pratt) stumbles upon a conspiracy that could destroy the block-y fabric of his world. Oh, and Arnett’s voicing Batman!
Check out The Lego Movie trailer below:
There's a wonderful stop-motion quality to the animation, and a host of notable cameos from LEGO licences past. Looks like the skewering of Batman is going to be a lot of fun... Directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller were behind Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and 21 Jump Street , so you can expect belly-laughs along with inventive sight gags.
The Lego Movie opens in the UK on 14 February 2014 after opening in the US on 7 February 2014.
