Final X-Men: Apocalypse trailer teases Wolverine

With Captain America: Civil War just around the corner, you'd be forgiven for forgetting that X-Men: Apocalypse is set to premiere in cinemas next month. The trailers so far have been pretty solid, but the latest promo finally gives us a glimpse of the franchises' trump card - Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. Check it out below...

Wolverine's inclusion won't come as a shock to many X-Men fans, but what is a (welcome) surprise is that sometime between X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men: Apocalypse the fan-favourite mutant has reacquired his adamantium. It's a safe bet that we won't get to see the bonding process - X-Men Origins: Wolverine already covered that - but it'll be good to see them in action once again.

As for the rest of the trailer, we get more of Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique recruiting new mutants, more great visuals of Storm's battle with Cyclops, and the seemingly mandatory "everything they've built will fall" dialogue from Apocalypse. We don't have to wait long to find out if Oscar Isaac's villain makes good on his threat.

Directed by Bryan Singer and starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Oscar Isaac, Jennifer Lawrence, Olivia Munn, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Rose Byrne, Nicholas Hoult, and Hugh Jackman, X-Men: Apocalypse will now be released in UK cinemas on May 18, 2016 before making its way to US theatres on May 27, 2016.
