The Gulag
The Gulag 1/4: Modern Warfare 2 intel 25/45
When you touch down in the prison and get off the helicopter, follow your squad and clear the enemies before you enter the prison. Right before you descend the stairs into the darkness, climb the outside staircase to an office overlooking the entrance which has the first intel at the far end.
The Gulag 2/4: Modern Warfare 2 intel 26/45
When you enter and reach the first control room, the next intel is on a table behind the wall of televisions.
The Gulag 3/4: Modern Warfare 2 intel 27/45
Once you've made it through the armory, in the next corridor enter room 327 on your right-hand side. Another intel is on a table to the left of a television.
The Gulag 4/4: Modern Warfare 2 intel 28/45
Keep playing through the mission until you eventually reach Captain Price. After the short cutscene, immediately look to your left where you'll find the intel on the table next to another television.
Of Their Own Accord
Of Their Own Accord 1/2: Modern Warfare 2 intel 29/45
When you reach the ground floor of the Capitol Building, clear the enemies in the lobby then look down the hallway to the second elevator on the left. The doors will be jammed by a corpse in the way; enter and pick up the intel in the corner.
Of Their Own Accord 2/2: Modern Warfare 2 intel 30/45
After you climb through the burning destroy floors and reach an enemy SAM site covered with blue tarpaulin, to the left-hand side of the room will be an enemy blind firing from behind a door. Shoot through the door to kill him, then enter and the intel is on the left.
Contingency
Contingency 1/3: Modern Warfare 2 intel 31/45
After you run from the BTRs firing at you, let the first patrol and dog patrol pass. Price will say there's a three man patrol dead ahead and that it's up to you whether to take them out or not. Crouch through the trees up the mound near to the patrol and you'll see the laptop on a crate, underneath a parachute hanging from a tree.
Contingency 2/3: Modern Warfare 2 intel 32/45
After you direct a predator missile directly into the submarine base, look for building 33 on the left-hand side. Clear all the enemies inside and the intel is in the kitchen.
Contingency 3/3: Modern Warfare 2 intel 33/45
Go north-west and climb the helipad. In the north-west corner is where you'll find the final intel for this mission, atop some crates.
Second Sun
There are no pieces of intel in Second Sun.
Whiskey Hotel
Whiskey Hotel 1/2: Modern Warfare 2 intel 34/45
When you enter the West Wing, after taking a painting off the wall, Cpl. Dunn will kick open a door. The first intel is on your left on a brown sofa after you clear the room of enemies.
Whiskey Hotel 2/2: Modern Warfare 2 intel 35/45
When Sgt. Foley says you have two minutes to get to the roof, start paying attention. You'll climb some carpeted stairs and when you reach the top, Foley will give a 30 sec update. The second and final piece of intel is on your right as you emerge from the top of the stairs, on a crate next to a window.
Loose Ends
Loose Ends 1/3: Modern Warfare 2 intel 36/45
After the ambush but before you breach your way into the enormous estate house, go south-west towards the lake. There will be one intel by the side of the boathouse.
Loose Ends 2/3: Modern Warfare 2 intel 37/45
When you get into the basement and breach into the weapons cache, there's another intel on a brown crate inside the room with tiled flooring.
Loose Ends 3/3: Modern Warfare 2 intel 38/45
After you breach the final room upstairs, the last piece of intel is on a table by the window with the two jeeps parked outside.
The Enemy Of My Enemy
The Enemy Of My Enemy 1/2: Modern Warfare 2 intel 39/45
At the very start of the mission, drop down from your plane wreckage to the right-hand side and enter the destroyed plane next to you. The first intel is in the cockpit.
The Enemy Of My Enemy 2/2: Modern Warfare 2 intel 40/45
Keep heading towards your objective marker and when you're approximately 115m away, you'll reach a road crossing your path. On the left-hand side will be a blazing jumbo jet nose at the top of the hill. The second intel is inside, at the front.
Just Like Old Times
Just Like Old Times 1/4: Modern Warfare 2 intel 41/45
When you enter the first cave, let the initial patrol pass then take out the guard smoking. Price will go left but to find the first piece of intel, go down the tunnel across from the camp area where you and Price took cover (right of the television). Price will warn you that it's full of enemies but if you go halfway down the tunnel, you can grab the intel on a green box without alerting anyone.
Just Like Old Times 2/4: Modern Warfare 2 intel 42/45
In the next section of the cave, when the room goes dark and a squad of enemies with laser attachments enter, the next intel is at the back. Clear out the enemies then before you leave the cave to the cliffside, check the section to the left for a laptop on a table.
Just Like Old Times 3/4: Modern Warfare 2 intel 43/45
After the Riot Shield section, when yourself and Price are fighting across a gap against enemies covered by a smoke grenade, stick to the side of the cave you're on. When you've killed all the enemies, do not cross the makeshift bridges; go to the very end of your side and you'll find the intel by an ammo cache.
Just Like Old Times 4/4: Modern Warfare 2 intel 44/45
After you breach through the door and kill all the enemies in Shepherd's Command Center, but before you override the door controls, you can grab the intel from the table opposite the keyboard you're meant to interact with. It's on the same table as all the cans.
Endgame
Endgame 1/1: Modern Warfare 2 intel 45/45
Right at the start of the mission, before you get on the boat with Shepherd, pick up the final piece of intel for the entire campaign from the box on the dock.
Congratulations, you've found all 45 intel in Modern Warfare 2. Now you can use all of the challenge, fun-time, and visual effects to make your next veteran playthrough that much harder. Right?
