The new Guardians of the Galaxy 2 trailer is a mix tape of awesome moments

Stop everything: The Guardians of the Galaxy 2 trailer is finally here and, boy, it’s a doozy. If you wanted to see more Chris Pratt snark, Drax blowing up spaceships, Groot being so cute it hurts and the first full look at Kurt Russell’s Ego The Living Planet then step right this way for the Guardians trailer starring your favourite (potentially two-time) galaxy-savers.

It’s hard to know where to begin when you have THIS MUCH packed into a trailer but, hey, the beginning is a good a place as any, I guess.

Star-Lord and Gamora’s relationship tension has developed into jealousy over rifles, because guns are Quill's 'thing'. Get a room.

The gang's meeting with villain Ayesha gets off to a bad start because Rocket can't wink properly. We’ve all been there...

When he’s not committing faux-pas in front of maniacal supervillains, Rocket is blasting through space with Star-Lord. With a jet pack. Take all of my money.

Drax yelling “Die, spaceship” before blowing up a carrier with a big gun is peak Drax.

Not to be outdone, Groot cranks the D’aww-o-meter  to 11 by waving at Gamora during a gunfight. He just wants to be cute, damnit!

Even Karen Gillan’s Nebula gets in on the action by trying to gun down her half-sister.

The final stinger: Kurt Russell’s Ego does the 'I'm your dad' thing. SHOCKER.

A Guardians trailer would be nothing without its music and, in case you wanted to know the name of the latest song to never leave your brain thanks to James Gunn, it’s Fleetwood Mac’s ‘The Chain’. You’re welcome.
