They're excited, because they (and you) are just a couple weeks away from the first reveal of Star Wars Battlefront 2. The sequel to EA and DICE's 2015 game will debut as part of Star Wars Celebration on April 15.

A reveal trailer will be one of the main draws of the "The Galaxywide Premiere of Star Wars Battlefront 2" panel. (I know, they weren't very creative in the name. Whattaya gonna do?) The panel is scheduled to begin at 2:30pm Eastern / 7:30pm BST, but I suspect that if you're a Star Wars fan you'll be glued to your screen all day.
We don't know much about Battlefront 2, save for the fact that it will likely feature a proper single-player campaign story mode centered around events of the new trilogy. Hopefully whatever EA has planned will give us more info and confirmed features.
But even if it doesn't, I'd stay tuned to the Star Wars Celebration anyway, as we also expect to learn more about Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi (and maybe even get our first trailer) as part of the event as well.
