Resident Evil 6 demo access shipping with Dragon's Dogma, comes to 360 two months earlier

Resident Evil diehards might want to consider picking up a copy of Dragon's Dogma this spring, as Capcom has revealed it will be infecting Xbox 360 and PS3 retail versions of the fantasy actioneer with online tokens for a Resident Evil 6 demo.

Owning an Xbox 360 appears to be the fastest way to test drive the Resident Evil sequel. According to Capcom's blog, when Dragon's Dogma drops on May 22 in North America (May 25 in the UK), it will include a code to access the demo in the Xbox LIVE marketplace on July 3. Meanwhile, PS3 owners will still have the code for a PlayStation Network unlock, but will have to wait until September 4 in North America and September 5 in the UK to get in on the flesh eating fun.

Since Resident Evil 6 was announced earlier this month, Capcom has wasted no time stirring up excitement for the latest Resident Evil chapter, which stars series staples Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy in an all new story set ten years after the Raccoon City incident. This latest marketing stunt is a big coup for Dragon's Dogma, which will likely receive way more attention now that it's paired up with one of Capcom's biggest series.
