Where to buy a Nintendo Switch 2 in Australia - all the best retailers and discounts for January 2026
All the Aussie retailers selling Nintendo Switch 2 right now
The Nintendo Switch 2 released on June 5, 2025 in Australia, with an RRP of AU$699.95, and unlike the PS5, it has been subject to many first year discounts of up to AU$100. If you want to buy a Nintendo Switch 2 for below RRP, it's usually manageable if you shop around.
While the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle is discontinued, it can still be found in some Australian retailers for AU$769.95.
Unlike the PS5, the Nintendo Switch 2 doesn't seem to be scarce. Some outlets like Amazon consistently offer the console for AU$696, which is slightly cheaper than the RRP. That said, their stock seems to deplete quickly, so you may need to check back.
Can you just wander into a bricks and mortar store and buy a Switch 2? Retailers like JB Hi-Fi, EB Games, Big W, The Good Guys and Officeworks generally always have stock, though this depends on your local outlet.
