A few days back, Zen Studios announced (http://www.gamesradar.com/marvel-pinball-vengeance-and-virtue-ghost-rider-table-announced/) Marvel Pinball: Vengeance and Virtue Ghost Rider, a Ghost Rider-themed pinball table that brings Johnny Blaze to life - in pinball form. Today, they've announced yet another Marvel table: Marvel Pinball: Vengeance and Virtue X-Men, and if you thought the last Vengeance and Virtue table was impressive, wait until you see what this one has in store for mutant fans.
The table’s plot (What? Pinball tables can have plots, too) sounds like it’s ripped right out of a comic book: “Xavier and his X-Men face their oldest and most dangerous enemy – Magneto. The Master of Magnetism will stop at nothing to bring about the age of mutantkind, including tearing up the playfield, destroying ramps and mastering control of the balls. Juggernaut, Mystique and The Blob will also hinder the X-Men's progress, while Sentinels will help hone our heroes' abilities in the Danger Room.”
In the trailer you can see some of said “tearing up the playfield” in action. At one point, Magneto rips a piece of the floor up, revealing some of the inner workings of the pinball table. It’s a somewhat simple animation, but really helps sell the mood of the game, even if the game is a pinball table.
