This year's COD dev shares New Year video, fans pile in with theories about the game

It's 2017, and you know what that means: 12 months of games to start looking forward to. Of course, some of the games coming this year are virtually unknown and far away. Games like whatever Sledgehammer, the developer behind Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, is working on. The studio shared a Happy New Year video over the weekend, and fans are already running wild with speculation. Here's the tweet:

The Call of Duty series rotates through three studios, with each one pumping out a new entry per year. 2015 gave us Black Ops 3 from Treyarch, 2016 was Infinite Warfare from Infinity Ward, and now it's Sledgehammer's turn.
