Transformers: Fall of Cybertron's Grimlock trailer begins spotlight on Dinobots

The best “robot dinosaurs, in space, with flamethrowers” clip you'll see all afternoon

Here's why it's important to keep an eye on science: this month, a top-ranking Columbia University chemist suggested that space could well be full of murderous dinosaurs. “We would be better off not meeting [the killer space-reptiles],” concludes Prof. Ronald Breslow's paper, showing a mastery of understatement but a regrettable ignorance as to the allegiances of currently-known space-dinosaurs. Going by this new Transformers: Fall of Cybertron trailer, you and noted intergalactic thunder-lizard Grimlock would probably get on like a planet on fire.

This is the first of what High Moon promises will be a series of insights into Fall of Cybertron's Dinobots, which combine dinosaurs, robots and lethal weaponry to create the stuff pre-teen boys' dreams are made of. You'll see more of the lovable death-robot-osauruses between now and the game's release date at the end of August; while you wait, here's a further 15 things you need to know about Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.

He wants to tell their origin story? Well he's doing it wrong. I guess he's following a different canon of the Transformers series.

I want to see him ripping Decepticons in half, not hitting robot bugs with a sword.
