Before you can enter any of The Sims 4 cheat codes, you need to bring up the not so secret cheat option:

* The Sims 4 PC cheats: Hold Ctrl and Shift, then press c

* The Sims 4 Mac cheats: Hold Command and Shift, then press c

* The Sims 4 PS4 cheats: Hold down all four shoulder buttons at once

* The Sims 4 Xbox One cheats: Hold down all four shoulder buttons at once

A box will appear in the top right corner where you can now input cheat codes.

One of the most important Sims 4 cheat codes to enter is testingcheats true, which enables additional cheats and allows you to shift-click on Sims, items etc to reveal further cheat options. To shift-click on consoles, press X+O (PS4) or A+B (XBO) at the same time.

  • Shift-click on the Sim you’d like to change the needs for and select Cheat Need then Make Happy to improve their mood
  • You can also lock in their current needs state by selecting Cheat Need then Disable Need Decay

  • Shift-click on a Sim then choose Reset Object to reset their status
  • Shift-click on an area of ground then select Teleport Sim to transport a Sim to that location
  • Shift-click on a Sim then pick Modify in CAS to edit them in Create-a-Sim, other than their name and inherited traits

  • Shift-click on an object then choose Reset Object to reset its status
  • Shift-click on an object then select either Make Dirty or Make Clean to change the status of the item

  • modifyrelationship [YourSimFirstName] [YourSimLastName] [TargetSimFirstName] [TargetSimLastName] X LTR_Friendship_Main - replace X with the value to change the friendship level between the two named Sims, for example: 100 increases friendship, while -100 decreases it
