Nicholson Electroplating DLC trailer reveals explosive disaster on the way for L.A. Noire

Throughout most of L.A. Noire, Detective Cole Phelps investigates serious, but small-scale crimes – murders, drug smuggling, gang hits and so on. When the Nicholson Electroplating arson case becomes available for download this coming Tuesday, however, he'll have a chance to investigate something big: the destruction of six blocks of Los Angeles, courtesy of a massive factory explosion.

Based on the real-life O'Connor Electro-Plating disaster of 1947, the Nicholson case is the fourth of five planned DLC expansions for L.A. Noire, and it could dramatically reshape a chunk of the game' s city. It also promises to finally follow through on its intro's brief glimpse of aviation pioneer Howard Hughes and his massive Spruce Goose cargo plane, so that's something to look forward to. In any case, it'll be available on June 21 for $3.99, 320 Microsoft Points, or free for those who've bought a Rockstar Pass, so Noire fans hungry for more will want to keep an eye out.

@wittynickname: There's the case they gave to the PS3, which they might give to the 360 owners. Or there might be a fifth case they haven't announced yet.

Oh. Mikel, did you mean the Badge Challenge? I think I get it, now.

I had the same question as thochaos. The Naked City and Slip of the Tongue, released. Nicholson Electroplating, Tuesday. Reefer Madness, July. What's the fifth case?

Looking forward to this. I already bought the first 2 cases, but what is the third?

I agree, the other DLC has been much too short.

    Tuesday cannot come soon enough.

Finally a DLC case that won't take me fifteen minutes to complete. Stoked to have a reason to put L.A Noire back in my PS3 again.

Rockstar loves us. First DLC out of the box and it's just... awesome looking. and for 320 MS points?!? That is SO reasonable!! Making it the only bit of anything on the xbox marketplace to be priced that way. Rockstar loves us. And I love them.
