Cyber Monday Xbox deals 2025: everything to expect from this year's sale

Both the Series X and Series S are more expensive than ever in 2025, so Cyber Monday Xbox deals could be a little tricky to navigate. The console has seen price surges across both the US and UK, with its controllers seeing the same spike as well. Discounts are few and far between, and have pretty much exclusively been stuck on renewed models so far this year, and physical games are still at a difficult premium with Game Pass undercutting prices.

So how are we looking for 2025's holiday season?

A bit strained.

Microsoft wants everything to be an Xbox, so I could technically get prepped to go out hunting for TVs, phones, and refrigerators this November. Instead, the best Cyber Monday Xbox deals are going to hit accessories and handhelds.

With Xbox ROG Ally pre-orders now underway and a whole host of handhelds running Game Pass these days, Microsoft's library is looking more portable than ever. Here's everything I expect from this year's sale once Black Friday Xbox deals calm down.

Xbox prices have already risen this year, and they're set to go up again in October. A base model Series X (yes, the one that came out five years ago) will soon run you $650 so no, I'm not expecting to recommend too many console discounts this year.

The ROG Xbox Ally would be your next point of call for some serious hardware, but with the handheld still only being in the pre-order stage it's unlikely we'll see hefty savings on such a newly released device.

That means 2025's going to be about accessories, with controllers, headsets, racing wheels, and mobile gamepads taking the lead. Yes, the official gamepad has seen its own price rises, but there are plenty more buttons on the shelves. This is when we see some of the best Xbox Series X controllers at record-low prices, and I'd keep a close eye on the Victrix Pro BFG for Xbox, GameSir G7 SE, and PowerA Fusion Pro Wireless in particular.

We saw some promising game discounts during Prime Day in the summer this year, so if you're rocking a Series X that can take physical media, you might be in with some luck. Of course, the question on lots of minds will be about the $1 Game Pass trial we've seen return a few times this generation. To be honest, I have doubts about this being a Black Friday/Cyber Monday special this year, given the reports that Game Pass is struggling to make money at the moment. With Microsoft lagging so far behind Sony this generation, I think we might see a more limited Game Pass offering this deal season.
