The improbably-named SLAI (that's Steel Lancer Arena International, in case you were wondering) is the latest robot-fighter from Konami, and you can see the first ever shots of the game on the right.
It's the first PS2 game to feature online mech combat, with online arenas allowing up to six players to enter, with four players battling head-to-head at one time. As each player is defeated, other players can immediately jump into the game to replace them.
There's also a single-player Story mode that, reckons Konami, offers over 50 hours of gameplay. That's a whole lot of android annihilation.
SLAI will be released for PS2 in the autumn
