Developer Cyanide has announced a September 29 release date for A Game of Thrones: Genesis. Based on George R.R. Martin’s Song of Ice and Fire book series, the game will challenge players to win the Iron Throne and will include a campaign and versus mode.
As you can see from the new set of screens below, the game’s license does not extend to the popular HBO TV series - and may not provide much relief to fans waiting for the next season of the show. But the way we see it, a game based on the books sounds more promising.
