E3 2011: Gotham City Imposters multiplayer gameplay trailer

Warner Bros. Interactive has dropped a multiplayer gameplay trailer for the other Batman-inspired video game on order for home consoles and PCs, Gotham City Imposters. Developed by Monolith Productions (F.E.A.R, Condemned), the downloadable title looks to balance the Bat's more serious gaming fare with a healthy dose of silly, frag-em-up fun...

Part of Gotham City Imposters's charm is its off-kilter take on the DC universe. There are no superheroes here, just Joe (and Jane) schmoes in superhero garb blowing the crap out of one another for fun - or another greater purpose we've yet to learn about. The trailer eludes to a 'war' of some sort, but that is kind of a given.

Justin the Masochistic Accountant, Bridget the Tyrannical Student, Joe the Passive Aggressive Plumber and the other 'Imposters' will be available for download on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Man its really amazing how the price point can change your opinion of a game entirely. When I thought it was a full retail release I thought it looked pretty terrible. But now that I know it's a downloadable I'll wait to hear more. @EnragedTortoise1 Do I get any points for Wikipedia/Youtube?

At least they're not charging $60 for this. I still think $15 is too high. $10 tops... and I'll wait for it to go on sale for $5.

If anything, it reminds me of Bloody Good Time meets Bioshock multiplayer. Bonus points if you've actually played BGT.

I was wondering what this game was gonna look like, looks like Bioshock type multiplayer. That or Team Fortress 2
