Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 would have a fight against Spider-Woman - if it was up to Tom Holland

Sure Spider-Man: Homecoming isn't even out yet, but it's never too early to start thinking about Spider-Man: Homecoming 2. And this week, star Tom Holland has really lit a match under the speculation fire by talking about what villains he'd like to see in a sequel. Speaking to Brazilian site CinePOP, Holland rattled off a couple villains he particularly enjoys:

"There’s so many good villains. I really like Mysterio, I like Kraven. I really like the 'Clone Saga,'" Holland said. "I think it could be really cool if Peter, or Spider-Man has to fight people with the same powers as him. Spider-Woman’s super cool. ... I think she’s called Spider-Girl, who is his clone. They kind of like hit it off and they take their masks off and they’re like... [shocked look] What the hell! They’re like the same person, but she’s just a girl. I think that’s really cool."

There are actually several Spider-Girls and Spider-Women in Marvel, but it seems most likely that Holland is referring to Jessica Drew from Ultimate Spider-Man. In that universe, Jessica was cloned from Parker's DNA, called herself Spider-Woman, and eventually took on the alias Black Widow. Kind of a left-field suggestion, but I can dig it.

As for Mysterio and Kraven, the former was set to appear in Spider-Man 4 as another Bruce Campbell cameo, while fans have been clamoring for the latter to appear on the big screen for years. If you're not familiar, Mysterio is a master of illusion and trickery, while Kraven is an almost supernaturally talented hunter. And if I may, I concur with Holland: those would be pretty good villains to see.

Of course, it's not really up to him and so whoever does end up in the film is anybody's guess. Speaking of, who would you want to make it into Spider-Man: Homecoming 2?
