Rain PS3 footage is soaked with style

The melancholy world of Rain, the upcoming PlayStation 3 adventure, is revealed to us in these six minutes of footage. An invisible boy stars in Tokyo Jungle developer PlayStation C.A.M.P.'s unique project, and it looks (and sounds) like an atmospheric treat.

Rain was unveiled at Gamescom in August, but this is our longest, most detailed look at the game in motion so far. The fixed camera angles and minimalist storytelling give us an Ico vibe--trading a sun-bleached castle for a downpour-soaked city--and that is one good vibe to evoke.

The first live demo is scheduled this week at GDC, so keep an eye out more news soon.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
