The game supports up to eight players total over Xbox Live and has four player split-screen multiplayer for those who have a big enough TV and would want to share a screen. You can combine split-screen and Xbox Live play as long as people are on your friends list so you'll know who to blame if your things go missing.

How does it play?
Similar to the PC game, the control work like any first-person and you use the right trigger to punch/dig/swing. The appeal of Minecraft is that you can do whatever you want. Build houses, dig for diamonds, shave sheep, grief your friends...the possibilities are endless!
When is it out?
The release date for Minecraft on the 360 has not confirmed yet but it is due out this spring.
