Stunning, full-length Epic Mickey intro vid is good enough to be a new Disney movie

Chris has alreadysplurged his geek-loadall over the the truncated cut, which was released a couple of weeks ago and came packing a mighty cliff-hanger. And he splurged with good reason, because if you have even a passing interest in Disney, great animation, or just amazing things that make you happy, that there video is essential watching.

But now the full-length, six minute, fifty-one second version has arrived. The additional 2:19 is the best part of the whole thing, upping the darkness, invention, and hardcore Disney-love as a trident of must-watch brilliance. We want developer Junction Point to start making new Mickey shorts when the game is done.

The more Disneyphilic amongst you will already be whooping with joy that the video's delicious new creepiness comes by way of The Mad Doctor, the antagonist of one of thebest Mickey shorts of all time. The attention to that cartoon's details, right down to strap-down table and robo-death-machine in the ceiling is spot-on. Friends, this bodes very well for the authenticity of this game, as well as the creativity and all-out cool it's going to bring. We're excited, but are you?
