Having lifted elements from Finding Nemo the first time round, this follow-up to A Turtle’s Tale moves up to grand larceny in having its leatherback leads spirited away from their Pacific atoll and relocated to a Dubai aquarium.

Planning their escape with the help of two hatchlings on the other side of the glass, this Belgian kid-pic has them square off against a duplicitous sea-horse and a penguin colony straight out of Happy Feet .

Original? Not so much. But the 3D impresses, the underwater scenery and vivid piscine ensemble more than rivalling the stereoscopic visuals of the upcoming Nemo reissue.
