The Batman v. Superman rumour mill is moving into overdrive this morning, with speculation building over the identity of Scoot McNairy’s character in the forthcoming film.
Batman News has published a new on-set image of the actor, in which he can be seen sporting cut-off trousers and green-screen fabric around his lower legs.
Clearly there is going to be some CGI at play here, and given the positioning of the material, it has been suggested that this is evidence that McNairy will be playing none other than speed-merchant, The Flash.
We know that Batman v Superman will serve as a kind of entry-point for D.C. wider universe, with introductions expected for Aquaman and Cyborg, so it’s entirely plausible that The Flash could also make his bow. And if any part of him is to be CGI'd, it will be those rapidly-moving legs...
Directed by Zack Snyder and co-starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Amy Adams, Batman v. Superman will open in the UK on 29 April 2016.
