Another Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer is coming, and this time, there's gameplay

Update: The trailer is live, and you can catch our full breakdown above!

Woah, cowboy, do I have some good news for you. Rockstar has just announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 is getting its fourth (and perhaps final) major trailer before its scheduled release day on October 26, and this one will finally show off footage of the game in action.

The Red Dead Redemption 2 Gameplay Trailer will air tomorrow, Thursday 9, at 9AM PST/11AM ET/4PM BST, on the Rockstar Games website, but you'll also be able to catch it on the studio's YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch channels, according to a post on the company's newswire

To be honest, you'll just to have to log on to the internet sometime tomorrow, and you'll be hard pressed to miss it, as the much anticipated gameplay reveal has a good chance of becoming the biggest game trailer of the year.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has had three trailers so far, but all have focused exclusively on the story and setting of the western sequel, with no raw gameplay footage to speak of so far. That's what makes tomorrow's video so exciting, especially as it has the likelihood of being as thorough and comprehensive as GTA 5's original gameplay trailer of 2013, as seen above.

Rockstar has indeed been ramping up promotion for Red Dead Redemption 2 recently, which intends to be its largest, most ambitious open world game to date. Grand Theft Auto Online received a new Red Dead themed hatchet as part of its After Hours update, while new character posters for the game have been spotted popping up around New York City over the last week.

Taken together, it's actually beginning to feel like Red Dead Redemption 2 is a real game that it is really coming out, after several delays and years of radio silence from Rockstar. October 26 can't come soon enough but, for now, stay tuned and ready for tomorrow's gameplay debut.

The original Red Dead Redemption is in our list of the best open world games of all time, so you can understand why we're excited about the sequel.
