A new Power Rangers movie is on its way next year, and there's a good chance San Diego Comic-Con attendees will get a first look at some footage from the reboot. In the meantime, Lionsgate have unveiled five new posters for the film that reveal the names and the ranger colours of our heroes.
Check them out below...

Naomi Scott is Pink Ranger Kimberly

RJ Cyler is Blue Ranger Billy

Ludi Lin is Black Ranger Zack

Becky G is Yellow Ranger Trini

Dacre Montgomery is Red Ranger Jason

To be honest these posters are a little too simplistic for me, and they come across as rather uninspired and bland. On this front, I'm hoping more studios take notice of the marketing for Star Trek Beyond and Suicide Squad, both of which offered plenty of examples of how to create a great character poster.
With that said, I get more intrigued about this Power Rangers movie the more I hear about it. Project Almanac was a solid feature film debut for Dean Israelite, and I'm curious to see how he fares on a film of this size.
Directed by Dean Israelite and starring Naomi Scott, Dacre Montgomery, RJ Cyler, Ludi Lin, Becky G, Bryan Cranston, and Elizabeth Banks, the Power Rangers movie will be released in UK and US cinemas on March 24, 2017.
