Pokémon Name: Elekible
Type: Electric
Classification: Thunder
Pokédex Number: 466 National
Ability: Electric Engine - Speed increases when hit by Electric attacks
Location Found: Trade Electabuzz with an Electric Booster item
Useful Attacks: Giga Attack
This week's star Pokemon is Elekible, the evolved form of rock and roll Electric Pokemon, Electabuzz. Getting Elekibles pretty involved - like Dosaidon, you'll need to defeat the Pokemon Champion. Somehow, this will prompt new Pokemon to move into the Sinnoh region, and by inserting a FireRed cartridge into the GBA slot you'll encounter Elekids in certain areas. One in eight of these Elekids will be holding a mysterious item, the Electric Booster. By evolving Elekid into Electabuzz and trading it while holding the Booster, it'll finally evolve into this yellow electric yeti. With impressive stats and the new Normal-type attack, Giga Attack, Elekible's a force to be reckoned with.
To check out Elekible's raw power in action on both the DS and Wii, hit the Movies tab, launch the video player, and find "PokemonRadar Week 13 - Elekible."
