Hey, another evolutionary family with unique typing! Ferroseed and Ferrothorn have the distinction of being the only Grass/Steel Pokemon, giving them unusually high defenses compared to the average Grass type. They also have a new ability unique to their family, Iron Barbs, which works like the Rough Skin ability and deals 1/8 HP damage to the opponent whenever the opponent uses a move that makes contact.
