Since it was announced last month, the sequel to the fifth core Pokemon generation, Pokemon Black and White Version 2, has been shrouded in mystery. Now the official Japanese web page for the game has been updated, bringing with it new images and a brand new trailer. Watch:

Of the new information confirmed s that the game's plot is entirely original and takes place around two years after the last game and you play as entirely new trainers with new friends and rivals. Though the setting is still Unova, you'll explore new parts of it, starting with the new hero's hometown. Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott are still your starters, but from the look of the screens, it appears the previous generations of Pokemon will be available much earlier. Also in the above gallery you'll see a couple of the new Gym Leaders and other characters you'll meet along the way.

The US/UK release date hasn't been set yet, though it'll be out in Japan June 23. Hopefully, after this explosion of new info in Japan, the American side will give us some new details soon.
