Xbox is fine with releasing Halo: Campaign Evolved in the summer, but it's worried about Fable and Gears of War: E-Day getting overshadowed by GTA 6

Xbox Game Studios is reportedly planning to release the remake Halo: Campaign Evolved this summer, but it's concerned that the Fable reboot and Gears of War: E-Day will be outshone by GTA 6's scheduled November 19 debut.

So what is Campaign Evolved to you, Xbox? Master Chief's chopped liver? It's possible – Tom Warren reports for The Verge that sources at Microsoft expect Campaign Evolved this summer, when GTA parent company Take-Two wants to begin "launch marketing" for the virulently anticipated GTA 6. Xbox isn't preoccupied by that, but it is taking GTA 6 into consideration while scheduling Fable for the fall and Gears of War for "the second half of 2026," according to Warren.
