Nolan talks Dark Knight

The New York Times caught up with director Chris Nolan and some of his Bat-team this weekend to talk all things Dark Knight. Among the topics covered in the interview are the expectations for the sequel, the loss of Heath Ledger and the theme of the film: “The escalation of crime has now meant that he feels more of a duty to continue,” he told the newspaper. “And now you have not just a young man in pain attempting to find some kind of an answer, you have somebody who actually has power, who is burdened by that power, and is having to recognize the difference between attaining that power and holding on to it.” Head on over to the Times site to read the full piece.

And while we’re on the subject of The Dark Knight, the teaser site for the Harvey Dent stage of Warner Bros’ viral marketing campaign has been up for a little while now, inviting you to sign up for info about Dent’s campaign to clean up Gotham. Now the site has gone into overdrive, with downloads, a list of places (US only so far) that Dent’s campaign bus will visit and a message from the man himself. Prior to any unfortunate meetings with dangerous chemicals, of course. You know you want to support him, so go and do it .
