LEGO The Hobbit Minikit locations guide

Barrels Out of Bond

Escaping the Woodland Realm

Minikit #1 (Free Play)

On the left side of the room is a net. Use a Goblin character to climb it up to a minikit.

The Elven Gate

Minikit #2 (Free Play)

After going ashore, look across the water for a Mithril rock. Blast this away using Saruman, and you'll have a way to cross the river. Over here, use a flail character to yank the gold handle above, revealing some steps to a minikit.

Minikit #3 (Free Play)

There are three bells in the area. The first is up the stairs to the left, the second is above the river gate, and the third is across the water near Minikit #2. Destroy all three for a minikit.

Minikit #4 (Free Play)

Near the first bell is a dirt patch. Use a shovel character to dig a minikit out from it.

Minikit #5 (Free Play)

After releasing the barrels with an arrow, look to the crane that was holding them. Blast this with magic for another minikit.

The Hunt for Dwarves

Minikit #6 (Story Mode)

When you return to dry land as Bombur, there will be four sunflowers around the perimeter of the area. Destroy these for a minikit.

Minikit #7 (Story Mode)

In the same section, look for some growth in the base of a tree. Bust through to find a cracked rock, then bust through this using Bombur's axes. There's a minkit inside the tree beyond.

Minikit #8 (Story Mode)

This one's a bit weird. Basically, you want to keep fighting the enemies in the area. Orcs will respawn near the fourth sunflower; keep taking them out, and you'll eventually receive the minikit.

Minikit #9 (Story Mode)

While riding atop the barrels, stick to the rightmost ones. You'll soon reach a minikit attached to a fishing rod you can only get by being on the rightmost barrel (usually Thorin's).

Minikit #10 (Story Mode)

During the same segment, keep an eye out for beehives. Snipe all five to earn another minikit.
