Where to find Conduit Crystals in Subnautica 2
Conduit Crystals are one of the rarest Subnautica 2 mid-game resources, and you'll need some gear to get them
To get Conduit Crystals in Subnautica 2, you must have first installed the depth module on your tadpole. As I've said in a few other Subnautica 2 guides, if this sounds like another language right now and you've no idea what a tadpole even is, you don't want to be here just yet. If you're trying to craft, say, a bioscanner upgrade, though, read on to find our where to find these tricky gems.
By now, you've obtained heat tolerance, traversed the huge stretch of ocean to the east of your lifepod, and discovered a vast new region holding some significant secrets about this alien planet. Here, there are loads of new resources you won't have seen before, among which are the incredibly scarce Conduit Crystals, so here's where you need to look.
Where to find Conduit Crystals in Subnautica 2
Subnautica 2 Conduit Crystals are found on the sea floor, roughly 450m below the surface, in the alien region around 1,950m east of your lifepod, and about 800m east of the Alien Ruins Research Center.
By searching this area beneath the Alien Power Plant, you'll be able to find the odd Conduit Crystal anywhere below 300m deep. Regardless, you're going to need the depth module for your tadpole, allowing it to reach depths of up to 450m before taking hull damage. If you're going for the crystals on the seabed, where they're slightly more common, remember to leave your tadpole at 450m before diving the rest of the way yourself, relying on improved fins, a Subnautica 2 rebreather, and a high capacity oxygen tank.
While you're down here, you'll also want to keep an eye out for Subnautica 2 Celestine, Atacamite, and Troilite, the latter of which I'll have a guide on shortly.

After studying Music and Lifestyle journalism and writing a column for a stylish lifestyle magazine in her hometown of Brighton, Danielle finally found her feet writing about videogames for WePC in 2021. She then honed her guides writing skills at PCGamesN between 2022 and 2026, when she took those skills to GamesRadar as a Guides Writer. Danielle's guides are a safe space - she definitely got stuck before you did, which is why she's perfect for the job. When she's not replaying the Silent Hill games or a more up-to-date single-player horror game, you'll find her fighting for her life in Dead by Daylight, tending to a garden in Stardew Valley, or doing both in Minecraft.
