The Nioh 3 release time and date has confused a few people as we enter the final run-up to the game's release, and there's a good reason for that: depending on whether you're playing on Steam and PC or on PS5, you'll get different release time, except in a couple of cases where they overlap. We'll lay out all the release times and dates for Nioh 3 below, so you know exactly when it's out and, if you've preordered and downloaded it, when you can play.

  • American East Coast (EST): 12:00AM, February 6, 2026

If you've purchased a digital copy of Nioh 3 on PS5, then the game unlocks at midnight February 6, 2026 in your current time zone, with staggered releases around the world, rather than the simultaneous PC release.

This means that PS5 players won't be able to start playing the game simultaneously, and that those players in New Zealand will be getting to it first. If you can tweak your PlayStation 5's region or have an account registered in NZ, you'll be able to play it early.
