GTA 6 trailer 3 hopes soar as YouTube jumps back into Rockstar's last trailer to tease it's going to be "busy" on pre-order day, but I think we already have our explanation
Fans speculate that "they definitely wouldn't have commented that for no reason," but I sure can think of one
GTA 6 pre-orders are going live this week, and fans reckon that YouTube may have inadvertently confirmed that we can expect the long-awaited Trailer 3 to arrive at the same time. I wouldn't be so sure, though.
Rockstar Games announced last week that GTA 6 pre-orders will go live on June 25, making its November 19 release date feel more real than ever. At this point, it's also been over a year since Trailer 2 – we didn't get one with the pre-order announcement – and most fans expect we'll get our next look at the game this week, coinciding with the devs asking fans to splash their cash.
The theory already makes sense – certainly a lot more sense than some of the wild speculation we've seen from fans over the last few years – but as highlighted on Reddit, some believe YouTube has outright confirmed it. A new comment posted by the site's official account on GTA 6 Trailer 2 reads: "Consider us busy June 25th."
So, the biggest video-sharing platform is hinting that it's going to be busy because of GTA 6… after the second trailer hit 19 million views in its first four hours? You can understand why some believe that Trailer 3 is "most likely confirmed" for June 25.
Yeah trailer 3 most likely confirmed for June 25th from r/GTA6
"Seems legit. They need to scale YT servers up to accomodate all the traffic for the new trailer," one Reddit user responds, as another writes: "They definitely wouldn't have commented that for no reason."
Unfortunately, though, there's another perfectly reasonable explanation for this, and it's the one I'm most personally inclined to believe – a corporate account is simply wanting to jump in on the pre-order hype. We already know that date is when pre-orders go live, so it's not like a brand new one has been pulled out of nowhere, and it's not uncommon for brands to humanize themselves a little like this.
There's probably some real truth to it, too – I'd be surprised if a whole bunch of YouTube employees weren't pre-ordering GTA 6 that day.

With that said, as others have pointed out, the idea of a new trailer arriving on pre-order day seems fairly likely regardless of whether YouTube is teasing it or not. As always, of course, please hype responsibly.
