To upgrade weapons in Beast of Reincarnation (a system referred to as Weapon Enhancement) might seem simple at first, but it won't be long before you're running into obstacles that prevent you from further enhancing your swords and ranged weapons, even when you have the Amber to pay for it. Obviously increasing your damage can be done by boosting your strength, but weapon upgrades are an essential component of Beast of Reincarnation that need to be kept in mind if you're going to keep up with the various Malefects out there.
How do you enhance your weapons in Beast of Reincarnation?
To enhance your weapons and upgrade them can be done at the Workbench in your Cleanse Walker hub or through the Enhance Weapons options at camps, in which Emma can spend Amber (the game's main currency) to improve the damage of both her melee and ranged weapons, as well as increase ammo capacity and other similar enhancements.
The workbench is found behind Brad in the pilot's seat, and next to the kitchen section where you can cook recipes in Beast of Reincarnation.
However, you'll notice that after one or two upgrades, you'll hit a hard cap that prevents you from upgrading them any further. To continue upgrades, you'll need to upgrade the stats of the Cleanse Walker's programming, known as Bauera, to a certain level as marked on the weapon.
Bauera has three stats: Power (blue), Calculations (yellow) and Knowledge (green), and Power is usually the limiter that prevents further weapon enhancements. You can improve these stats by finding certain spoils out in the world while adventuring, usually the remnants of golems. Strongboxes and valuable item markers left by Koo are a likely source of these spoils, so make sure to pay attention to your faithful dog along the way.
