The Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer is almost here as the upcoming Sony/Marvel movie swings into view with a unique marketing campaign.
Over the next 24 hours, beginning March 17, passionate Spider-Man fans on social media will be the ones debuting fragments of the upcoming trailer.
"We are working on something incredibly exciting for the release of the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer," Spidey actor Tom Holland said in a video posted online.
"We have had so much love and support since day dot of making these movies. Without that incredible community, there would be no Spider-Man."
Holland continued, "To show you our appreciation, we are doing something that has never been done before."
That strategy is to pass the baton on to multiple Spider-Man-centric accounts on Instagram to unveil clips from the upcoming Brand New Day trailer, which releases worldwide – and in full – on March 18.
As of writing, we've seen the first clip from Brand New Day, which recreates the cover of Spider-Man's debut in Amazing Fantasy #15 as he swings through the air while rescuing a bystander.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, sees the wallcrawler drawn into the orbit of Punisher (Jon Bernthal). Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, and Mark Ruffalo also star.
A full trailer was somehow leaked in December, but swiftly scrubbed from the internet.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into cinemas on July 31. For more, check out the upcoming Marvel movies on the way very soon.
