An international Supergirl teaser has given us exactly what we've been asking for: crumbs of fresh puppy Krypto footage.
The South Korean spot, which you can see below, features Milly Alcock's Kara in traditional Krypton dress during the last days of the doomed planet. There is a flicker of hope, however, as an (adorable) baby Krypto comes running over to Supergirl.
From there, it's largely Supergirl scenes that we've seen before, but with a sprinkling of different Krypto scenes. We just hope the super-powered pooch isn't in as much peril as this latest teaser makes out.

Supergirl (formerly, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow before DC boss James Gunn changed the title) revolves around a quest for revenge after a young girl's father was murdered in cold blood.
As the recent trailers have attested, Kara isn't quite the squeaky-clean, kindness-is-punk-rock monolith that David Corenswet's Superman is. Far from it. Instead, Milly Alcock, James Gunn and director Craig Gillespie want Supergirl to prove not every female comic book character has to be perfect to be seen and heard.
"A lot of times – for some reason – our female superhero leads are just so much more perfect. Tony Stark and Star-Lord are such messes, and that isn't always the same thing for our female superhero leads," Gunn said at a press conference attended by GamesRadar+ back in December. "Seeing someone who was so imperfect and such a mess… that was what excited me."
Gunn also later confirmed that Supergirl takes place in-between Superman and its sequel, Man of Tomorrow.

As Supergirl's release approaches, it appears we're now getting set for a battle of the box office babies – as Krypto's puppy bounds into sight just a month after Grogu makes his big-screen debut in The Mandalorian and Grogu.
For more, here are the movie release dates to look forward to in 2026, plus all the DCU Chapter One plans that are in the works.

I'm the Senior Entertainment Writer here at GamesRadar+, focusing on news, features, and interviews with some of the biggest names in film and TV. On-site, you'll find me marveling at Marvel and providing analysis and room temperature takes on the newest films, Star Wars and, of course, anime. Outside of GR, I love getting lost in a good 100-hour JRPG, Warzone, and kicking back on the (virtual) field with Football Manager.
