Frieren Beyond Journey's End season 3 Golden Land arc story – which manga chapters will it adapt?

Frieren has already laid narrative crumbs for the upcoming arc as Golden Land is mentioned during a ferryman's boat trip in the second season's penultimate episode. The Frieren season 3 post-credits scene also saw Denken tasked with maintaining the barrier around the Golden Land and facing down the demon that resides in the gold-tainted city.
What lies there? Well, (some manga spoilers follow) if it follows the source material, then we can expect to see Frieren, Fern, and Stark come into contact with a Sage of Destruction named Macht. They are bad news, to put it mildly.
With Golden Land's extended length compared to the arcs that preceded it, we wouldn't be surprised if the entirety of the storyline is the only thing adapted in the third season.
Frieren Beyond Journey's End season 3 cast
Barring any dramatic changes, we anticipate the core gang of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End will return for season 3 – including Frieren, Fern, and Stark. The continuing flashbacks will also likely retrace the steps of Himmel, Eisen, and Heiter.
Expect more from Serie, too, as well as the arrival of a fearsome Sage known as Macht.
The Frieren season 3 cast should be as follows, with both Japanese and English actors listed:
- Frieren – Atsumi Tanezaki/Mallorie Rodak
- Stark – Chiaki Kobayashi/Jordan Dash Cruz
- Fern – Kana Ichinose/Jill Harris
- Himmel – Nobuhiko Okamoto/Clifford Chapin
- Eisen – Yoji Ueda/Chris Guerrero
- Heiter – Hiroki Tōchi/Jason Douglas
- Macht – TBA
