Champions of Norrath: Realms of Everquest Hints

    Monsters in Flames

When your in the lesser Faydark and you beat all the goblins, you must find the boss goblin guy. He'll send these giant saber-tooth monster bears at you. Run until you find a fire thats not in a fire pit lamp thing. It should be in between two rocks. Get the monsters attention, and stand behind the rocks. The things are really stupid, so they should try to go through the rocks, and they'll catch on fire. You can be patient and wait for them both to die, or just wait until there weak then finish them off.

How to Find the Conch Shell

When your are at hidden shore on the island you will see a mermaid. she will ask for a shell. when your at western island you will see babik in a cage after the ship wreck. then slay all the slayers then go back to babik. he will go to waters edge. go follow him. then he will give you the conch shell. then give it to the mermaid and she will give you a reward.

How to beat Shelox the easy\fast way

When you first enter the lair of Shelox he will shoot some web at you Immediately as you walk in the chamber dodge it then walk up to him and watch out for his claw attack and then circle around him and wait till you are out of his range to be drug in and bit if you become open hit him with your melee attack and then repeat this strategy and you will not be shot at with his web or ''green goo''.

    Beating the Spiderqueen

The spiderqueen is very hard if you don't have ranged abilities. But if you do have ranged abilities, then you will have a breeze with this strategy. Just make sure you dont get caught in the web it shoots at you. If you do, then its no biggy, just keep running away from the spider. Eventually the spider will let you go, and you can move again. But rest assured, if she misses you, then she will keep shooting the webs at you. Just run clockwise around her, and you won't get caught in her web, She will spit green acid every once in a while, when she does that, dodge it and shoot her with your ranged attack. Keep up this strategy and you shouldn't have any problem beating her.

    Character Build Up

Make sure you have room on your memory card for more than one save. The idea behind the cheat is to import your own character into a map you control. So, if you are after experience fight your way through the game to a boss fight with an easily accessible save point. Fight the boss down to the last hit and then withdraw to the save point. Save the game, this will be the map reference. Now, go ahead and wander back towards the boss and kill him. You gain the xp and loot of the boss fight. Return to the save point and save your game on < Create New Save Game >. This will create a new save that we'll use to import from. Now, exit the game and reload your map reference save (1st save). Once inside your game, hit start and go to Add/Remove Players... Highlight your own character and hit triangle to import a character. Import your character that already has the boss experience into the map reference save you created and you now have the opportunity to kill the boss again (in one blow no less) and regain his xp and loot.

    Killing the Gate Switch Guard

To kill the gate switch guard u have to be at least level 7. When the short cinematic before facing him ends, you will have to kill six heavily equipped orcs. They should not be too hard if you have healing potions. Once they are defeated you will most likely be out of potions or need to heal. I recommend using the portal in orc cave 3 to get back to Kelethin and shop for potions. Go back and kill the switch guard. I would recommend constant use of your R1 ability, block, so that you will not be plummeted by his massive sword. After he slashes you slash and then keep doing this for a while till he dies and after you kill him you will most likely level to 8 because he gives crazy experience.

    Beat Orc Leader

The orc leader is just past a checkpoint and through some large doors in the cave. Make sure you have plenty of health and mana potions before you enter. As soon as you step in he starts talking to you. When he stops run to the left or right. Keep away from him. When he stops and charges you run to the left or right. He will stop, this is the time to shoot him with a spell or fast shooting bow. Do this about 100 times to beat him and you will automatically level up. Make sure you search his weapons and pick up the Black Scroll. He's not dead but you don't have to fight him for a while.

    Best character

If you pick the Dark Elf Shadow Knight then you can win. The Dark Elf is kind of like a sage (a powerful magic ruler and a strong physical foe) if you have one level 18-25 you get a skeleton that fights with you, it takes up a lot of magic, but it really helps. I am al ready level 89 so I have had a lot of time with it. Try to always keep the skeleton with you.

How to beat Cyclops on the Hidden Shore in Pit of Ill Omen

    Boost to Level 20

During your game Hold down L1+R2+traingle and press R3. You will jump to level 20 with 999 points to use and 75,000 credits to spend. If you are already higher than level 20 you will lower to level 20. This only works with a Lv. 1 character????

  • PS2 | Submitted by GamesRadar

    Unlimited Money & Items

During a game with 2 controllers plugged in, after starting a game or after you have accumulated items. Press the Start button and pick "Add/Remove Player". Select the player 2 slot and import the player #1 into that slot. Pick "Finish" and player 2 will have #1's items. Now you can drop items from player #2 and import #1 and you will have those items, etc.

How to Beat The Ant Queen

First what you have to do is kill all the regular ants on both sides of the area so they will be out of your way. Then on the left side they're two pillars, stand in between them and shoot at the queen with arrows or use spells and guess what she won't be to fit through the pillars to hit you.

    Easier Boss Fights

Two big dogs and big orc before the entrance to the caves: Get one dog to follow you and run back to the people before you get to the cave. They will form a circle around the dog and start hitting it. If you stand on the outside of the circle and hit it, it cannot hit you. Repeat this for the other dog and the big orc.
Big Orc in the first cave: Run around him in circles so that when he charges at you he misses. Turn around and hit him and start running again. Repeat process. (Make sure you don't get to close to him or he will do a combo that will kill you.)
Shelox (Spider Queen): Let her pull you in while you block the whole time. If you are doing it with two players then while one person is doing that, have the other shoot arrows at it. When you are near her, after she hits you once then you let ur block down and attack her, and put your block back up.
Ant Queen: Run to wear her "egg sack" thing was and stand there. Fire arrows at her. She cannot fit in their after you so you will be safe. I had a TON of arrows with me when i did this, and i used cold arrow, multi arrow, and fire arrow, so i was set.
