Bryan Singer continues to tweet updates from the early stages of production on X-Men: Days Of Future Past , with Shawn Ashmore's Iceman the latest to be teased.
Singer tweeted a picture of Ashmore on set, now sporting an impressively wolverine-like beard and hair combo, complete with tracking dots to map his likeness for forthcoming CGI shots.
Take a look, below:
Alongside Anna Paquin's Rogue (also returning), Iceman's story arc was one of the more interesting of the early films, as he struggled to come to terms with his mutant abilities.
We don't know how big his role will be in the new film, but it's nice to see Singer returning him to the spotlight for another go-around. Maybe in the future, he and Rogue have figured out a way to "get along" without half-killing him.
Directed by Singer and co-starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence, X-Men: Days Of Future Past will open in the UK on 18 July 2014.
