Even Kinect gets an Xbox One holiday bundle this year

Shove aside your coffee table: Kinect is officially back! Officially back in one of the many Xbox One bundles Microsoft plans to sell this holiday season, that is. The Xbox One with Kinect Bundle will come with a 500GB console, the definitely-not-forgotten sensor, and downloads for Dance Central Spotlight, Kinect Sports Rivals, and Zoo Tycoon.

Just like the old Xbox One with Kinect Bundle (which they used to just call Xbox One), it will cost $499. Microsoft hasn't provided an official release date for the package yet, though you should be able to find it in Microsoft stores and other retailers sometime this month.

The company also announced the $349 Xbox One Special Edition Gears of War Bundle, which comes with a white 500GB console and controller. Otherwise its contents are the same as the non-special-edition Gears of War: Ultimate Edition bundle. I'm not sure how much sense the clean black-and-white design makes for Gears of War - it looks more like stormtrooper armor for Star Wars Battlefront than COG gear - but the system does look nice in white either way. It will be sold only at Walmart starting in November.

If chainsawing angry mole men sounds a little too M-rated for your family holiday, you may prefer the Xbox One The Lego Movie Videogame Bundle, which includes a standard 500GB console and game disc for $349. Multiple retailers will start stocking it this month.
