3. Last year's best deals

This year's Prime Day Lego deals may only be a few weeks away, and because they provide some the lowest prices available for many of the best Lego sets, it's a sale worth paying attention to. Indeed, it's your best chance to save on models outside of November discounts.

Because the sale is coming sooner than you think, we're assembling a crack team of bargain hunters and master builders to bring you up to speed on everything you should know about 2026's Prime Day Lego deals. That includes where to find the best offers, which kits we can expect to get price cuts, and good alternatives in case you want to shop further afield.

This guide will also be updated regularly as we approach the sale itself, both with advice and the most tempting Prime Day Lego deals available. In other words, drop in occasionally to get ahead of the curve on this summer discount extravaganza!

Prime Day Lego deals: FAQ

Want the TL:DR version? Not to worry - here's everything you need to know about Prime Day Lego deals 2026 in bitesize chunks.

When will Prime Day Lego deals 2025 begin?

This year's Prime Day Lego deals are set to return in June, according to an official announcement, but we don't have a specific date beyond that. Because the event took place between June 21 - 22 back in 2021, there's a good chance we'll see a repeat in 2026.

Do I need a Prime membership for the Prime Day Lego deals?

Unfortunately, you will need a Prime membership to access the best Prime Day Lego deals. This is bad news for those not already subscribed but it does provide a pretty good excuse to give Prime a try if that's something you've had your eye on.

What's more, you can get a 30-day trial of Prime that is totally free provided you cancel before the next billing period. This should give you plenty of time to take advantage of all the best Prime Day Lego deals.

If you really don't fancy signing up for Prime, don't worry – your life won't be totally devoid of discounts. While they aren't technically Prime Day Lego deals, there some other sales that take place both on Amazon itself and other online stores around the same time. We make sure to keep an eye out for those too.

Amazon Prime | 30-day free trial

Amazon Prime | 30-day free trial
Most of the best offers are exclusively available to Prime members. So, if you want to take advantage of them, you'll need to make sure you're subscribed.

Fortunately, there's a free trial that'll cover you far beyond the duration of Prime Day. Just remember to cancel your plan before the rolling monthly $12.99 / £7.99 fee kicks in if you don't plan on sticking around.

Should you wait for Black Friday?

Should you take advantage of this year's Prime Day Lego deals, or should you wait until the bigger sales event in November when Black Friday Lego deals kick off? Honestly, the answer lies in which Lego sets you have your heart set on. Some (like the Millennium Falcon, or those advent calendars) tend to get their biggest reductions during Black Friday. But not all sets follow this same rule.

It also depends on where you're based. If you're shopping in the UK, summer's Prime Day Lego deals offer some of the best discounts we'll see all year. Must-have premium sets have hit record lows during the event like clockwork for the past few years, so I expect the same again in 2026.

For guidance on any deal, I'd recommend keeping a keen eye on price tracking sites like CamelCamelCamel. If a set not had a real discount for ages and has tumbled massively for the Prime Day Lego deals, you should definitely snatch it up. On the other hand, if trends suggest the price is set to drop further in November and December, I'd say to hold your fire.

Best alternatives to Amazon during Prime Day

While Amazon will obviously get the lion's share of attention during the sale (it is an Amazon even, after all), other retailers try to get in on the action too. Here are the ones I'd recommend watching out for based on previous trends and price cuts.

  • Walmart: Can offer savings up to 50% off
  • Best Buy: Usually has decent discounts
  • Disney Store: Worth checking
  • Lego Store deals: Save up to 30%

UK

  • Very: Consistently matches Amazon
  • Smyths Toys: Past savings up to £125
  • John Lewis: Price matched
  • Disney Store: Occasionally great discounts
  • Lego Store: Get up to 50% off

Prime Day Lego deals: What to expect

Amazon Prime Day logo

Even though the best offers tend to be reserved for Amazon technology or other hardware (such as Prime Day gaming laptop deals), that isn't to say savings on Lego aren't worth getting excited about. In fact, you can earn whopping discounts on must-have sets if you're fast. Indeed, it's not uncommon to see lowest-ever prices during the sale.

To make sure you're making the most of Prime Day, here's some advice based on my years of covering the sales event.

💲 Cheaper sets will get most of the attention
Based on Primes of years past, anything older than a few months is game to receive a price cut. Mid-range and cheap sets (AKA under $50/£50) are probably going to get the lion's share of savings and attention, though, because they usually do. I anticipate the Botanicals range (AKA Lego flowers/plants) being front and center, for example, followed by affordable Star Wars playsets. Want easy gifts or cheap display pieces? Prime Day is the time to strike.

💰 Offers on premium sets do exist, but they're harder to find
Even though less expensive kits steal the limelight during Prime, that isn't to say big ticket items won't get any love - you just have to be willing to look. For instance, fans were able to take advantage of cheapest ever prices for the Lego Super Mario World kit, the Sanderson House, and more during last year's sale. (Meanwhile, the UK had it even better with offers on the Great Deku Tree, Rivendell, and the UCS Millennium Falcon.)

🎬 Sets for popular franchises get the best savings
I expect the most tempting Lego offers to be on major franchises such as Star Wars and Harry Potter this year. Even though all things Lego get their prices slashed during the event, the wizarding world, Marvel, Super Mario, Minecraft, and the rest rule the roost in my experience. Mosey on over to Amazon's sales page this June and you'll find them dominating the list.

Read moreRead less▼

❌ A lot of third-party knock-offs will appear
You can guarantee that plenty of copycats will fill the digital sales racks as well, so be sure to check whether the item you're looking at is genuine Lego. You'll probably need to scroll past a lot of tat to find the good stuff, too. If it's suspiciously cheap or looks a bit... off, it's probably a copycat.

So far as specific deals go, I think we can expect most cheap or mid-range franchise kits from the last few months to get the best price cuts in 2026's Prime Day Lego deals. I won't list them all because we don't have all day, but as an example, I think we can guarantee the likes of the newest Fortnite playsets (Durrr Burger Restaurant, Klombo, etc) getting major discounts. If it's under $60/£60 and is from a major IP, I'd be amazed not to see it on offer.

I'd be astounded if we didn't get major discounts for Smart Play too. These high-tech models are a few months old and haven't really enjoyed a bargain yet, so it'd make for a good central offer for Amazon. Similarly, I'm anticipating Lego Pokemon to get their first major price cuts. They've yet to enjoy real money off, so feel like prime (heh) candidates.

If history repeats itself, UK builders can also expect some amazing offers on premium models (think Bag-End, Rivendell, and the Ultimate Collector Series). While the US gets major price cuts on big models, the UK tends to be more consistent with those kinds of offers in my experience.

Last year's best Prime Day Lego deals

Prime Day Lego deals have been producing gold for a long time now, and GamesRadar+ has been there to track them every step of the way. These are my favorite offers from last year.

Lego Botanicals Tiny Plants | $49.99 $39.95 at Amazon
Save $10 - So far as I can tell, this delightful kit hadn't ever been cheaper than it was here, and made for the perfect present. Want an easy gift? Prime Day Lego deals are your time to hunt them down.

Lego Hocus Pocus Sanderson Sisters' Cottage | $229.99 $172.49 at Walmart
Save $57.50 - Yes, I know, it's not from Amazon. But this offer on a hard-to-find kit that had since retired shows why you should extend your search beyond to other retailers and their competing sales.

Record low price

Lego Piranha Plant | $59.99 $35 at Amazon
Save $25 - This was hands down the cheapest price I'd ever seen for one of my all-time favorite Super Mario Lego sets (something I dig into more with my Lego Piranha Plant review). This model is beyond charming, and easy to build, so it was an easy recommendation in last year's Prime Day Lego deals.

Record low price

Lego Star Wars Grogu with Hover Pram | $99.99 $69.99 at Amazon
Save $30 - We got another record low price from a galaxy far, far away in last year's Prime Day Lego deals, and because the kit usually averaged anywhere between $96 and $100, it was great value. While I adore the old version (which I had a lot of good things to say about in our Lego The Child review), I do think this one is better on the whole due to the addition of the pram and accessories.

Lego Super Mario World Mario and Yoshi | $129.99 $104 at Amazon
Save $25 - This matches a previous record-low price for the Lego Super Mario World Mario and Yoshi – and $25 off was significant enough to make a solid recommendation. A great example of why you should look out for bigger kits in the sale too, as it's not just smaller models being cut.

Lego Star Wars Ghost & Phantom II | $159.99 $111.99 at Amazon
Save $48 - Considering how the previous all-time low for this set was $127 or thereabouts, last year's Prime Day Lego deals really came through for Star Wars Rebels/Ahsoka fans. We called this kit the best playset in a long time during our Lego Ghost & Phantom II review, so it's certainly worth the hype.

Lego Great Deku Tree | £259.99 £206 at Amazon
Save £54 - This set dropped even further in price than the previous record low for last year's Prime Day Lego deals, which is pretty astounding. Sure, it's only a few pence less... but money off is still money off, right? This model averaged between £244 and full price, so such a huge drop was impressive. This is a great example of why the Amazon is the place to be for Lego discounts during Prime Day.

Save £40 - Hello, is that a record low price I see? Why, yes, it is! Thanks to that 27% reduction, this kit hadn't ever been cheaper. It didn't normally drop below £145 either, so that was a bargain.

Lego Barad-dur | £399.99 £339.90 at Amazon
Save £60 - The fortress of the Dark Lord Sauron had never been as cheap as this. I'll admit that the previous low was a mere handful of pence higher, but still. A record discount is a record discount, and this offers proves that you should keep your eye on exclusive, premium kits during Prime Day Lego deals; they traditionally get big savings.

Lego Star Wars UCS AT-ST | £179.99 £139.99 at Very
Save £40 - We got a record low price to help us kick off October's Prime Day Lego deals, and it was on a then-brand new kit as well. OK, yes, I know, it's not from Amazon. But that's because Amazon sold out of the model, which just goes to show why you should have alternatives in your back pocket.

Lego UCS Millennium Falcon | £734.99 £579.99 at Amazon
Save £155 - I appreciate that this isn't a record low price, but because the model hadn't gone much below £610 for a while (not consistently, anyway), this reduction was big news. As noted in our Lego UCS Millennium Falcon review, this is more than worth the asking price.

I've been writing about games in one form or another since 2012, but these days you'll find me managing GamesRadar+'s tabletop gaming and toy coverage (I spend my time here handling everything from board game reviews to the latest Lego news). I've also been obsessed with Warhammer since the 1990s, and love nothing more than running tabletop RPGs like D&D as a Dungeon Master.
