That Men in Black/Jump Street crossover you can't believe is happening has an official title

It may be time to start taking that Men in Black/Jump Street crossover a little more seriously.

The first time we heard about it was during 2014's Sony hack, but what once seemed like a crazy, far-fetched idea has come to fruition. Sony made the announcement at their CinemaCon panel, revealing the logo for the improbable crossover (via ComicBook.com). Check it out below...

It's presumed that Jump Street stars Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum will return, while Jump Street co-directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller are signed on to produce. Less certain is the return of Men in Black stars Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, and Josh Brolin, which means that the crossover is more likely to function as a sequel to 22 Jump Street.

It's hard not to be at least a little sceptical about this one, but at times like this it's important to remember that even the worst-sounding ideas can ultimately turn out great (see The LEGO Movie). I could also be swayed (a little) by the promise of more scenes like this...

A release date for Men in Black 23 has yet to be announced.
