Mark Ruffalo wants Bruce Banner and the Hulk to meet

There's been plenty of speculation in recent weeks as to whether the Hulk will be turning up in Thor: Ragnarok, but Mark Ruffalo has an even more out-there partnership in mind for the big, green rage-monster. While he would be more than open to a Thor/Hulk double-act, Ruffalo says what he really wants is to see Bruce Banner and his alter-ego share a scene together.

"I am excited to keep coming back to this role," said Ruffalo to The Huffington Post. "I see a lot of space for it to grow. I feel like there's a lot of cool stuff to explore still, especially the relationship between Banner and Hulk. Hopefully, we'll see the two of them in a scene together. That would be cool."

Just how that would take place is unclear, although the two have met in the comic books previously, albeit within the confines of Banner’s brain. Could we see such a personality crisis made flesh in a coming Avengers outing? Here’s hoping…
